A Year of 'Firsts'

Our IRC Louisville welcomed our first family in September of 2022 and first opened the doors of our new office to the public in April of 2023. As we celebrate our first year of providing programs and services to refugees in Louisville, we’re looking to reach more donors who can help bridge the gap between initial resettlement funds and growing needs. Join us in our very first Give for Good Louisville, the largest online giving event in our region, hosted by the Community Foundation of Louisville. Over the past decade, Give for Good Louisville has inspired more than 137,300 donors to contribute a total of $50.6 million to support organizations in our community.

Our Goal! 

Our goal for this year’s Give for Good Louisville is to engage at least 50 new donors whose generous support will be critical in meeting the needs of our clients. As the costs of housing, food, and other basic needs increase rapidly, our newest neighbors need your support now more than ever. The donation portal will be open all day on Thursday, September 14 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Our donation page offers helpful giving levels that illustrate what your support can do for our clients, but any contribution—big or small—can make a positive impact!

The Community Foundation's Give For Good Louisville online donation platform is distinct from the one available on our website.
